Camille JonesDirector of Robotics and Automation
Camille Jones, the Director of Robotics and Automation at Figure Engineering, is a visionary leader steering strategic technology and collaboration development for innovative automation solutions. She brings expertise in aerospace manufacturing from several years at Boeing in the Research and Technology business unit where she developed novel technology to automate composite part aircraft manufacturing, assembly, and coating applications. Over the years she has been a key inventor for several patents in automation and robotics. Camille earned her bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Howard University and her master’s in aerospace engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
She has led multidisciplinary engineering teams and global technology programs across the US, EU, and Australia with the primary focus of drastically driving cost down and increasing production rate using robotic technology. Her efforts have led to significant cost reduction in fabrication processes and eliminated unsafe manual operations. Camille brings experience in developing R&D programs, program management, industrial robots, offline programming, end effector design, product development, and process development.
Camille is committed to fostering teamwork, a value learned from her years of playing basketball. Outside of work, Camille enjoys time with family, traveling, and teaching in a women’s ministry.
