The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Office of the Secretary of Defense Manufacturing Technology Program (ManTech) has announced Figure Engineering as a winner of the OIB Modernization Challenge. The Maskless Robotic Painting with Realtime Control project was chosen to demonstrate an innovative technology solution to significantly improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance environmental sustainability within the Organic Industrial Base (OIB).

The Maskless Robotic Painting with Realtime Control project was chosen to demonstrate an innovative technology solution to significantly improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance environmental sustainability within the Organic Industrial Base (OIB).
Figure Engineering Selected for USAF Commercialization Program. Figure Engineering is one of 18 companies selected from a pool of over 200 to participate in a commercialization training pilot program sponsored by the Air Force.
Figure Engineering Receives Selection for SBIR Phase II Award. Figure Engineering’s SoluStat™ Solution Control technology has been selected for continued development under a SBIR Phase II grant.
The effort will miniaturize, ruggedize, and mobilize the stationary/equipment-mounted CHEM™ sensor under development in a concurrent SBIR Phase II.
The RIF award provides Figure Engineering the opportunity to build on work successfully performed under previous Air Force SBIR projects with the primary goal of demonstrating a production-ready full-scale system in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill AFB, Utah.
