Joe collaborates with Figure’s other project teams, providing his expertise in metal finishing, corrosion, chemical safety and compatibility, and environmental compliance.

Mr. Salim formerly worked for the United States Air Force as the chemical engineer, supporting inorganic chemical processes used at the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center in Georgia. Salim also served as an environmental engineer ensuring regulatory compliance at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado with a focus on Title V (Clean Air Act) compliance. Joseph geeks out on hard science fiction, all things aerospace, history, and military science. He reminisces fondly of Wernher von Braun’s 1952 vision of Titanic and permanently manned Space Stations and Lunar and Martian outputs. For Science!
